Cory Vergilio, M.D. is pleased to have brought you tummyhealth.com.  Dr. Vergilio practices Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Somerville, New Jersey and South Plainfield, N.J.  He sees hospital patients and performs procedures at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, New Jersey and JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey.  Dr. Vergilio is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, and is Assistant Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at University of Medicine and Dentistry-New Jersey Medical School.  He has had extensive training in advanced gastrointestinal procedures both in the United States and abroad.

Dr. Vergilio graduated from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey -  New Jersey Medical School and completed internal medicine training at University Hospital, Newark, N.J.  He studied gastroenterology at UMDNJ, the Sammy Davis Jr. International Liver Center, participated in the liver transplantation program at UMDNJ, and completed a clerkship at Aarhus Universitat in Aarhus, Denmark in Advanced Biliary Therapeutics.
